Second project is reverse curve, can't compare with bowl which one is harder, but I guess reverse curve is much easier than bowl, at lease you don't have to make a perfect arc.

I'm hammering.....

H-a-m-m-e-r lol~

Turns out it is looks really shit at the beginning.

Not even bumped up in the middle, needs more work.

I skipped the middle process again, haha, this stage is nearly finish it.

Try to make the curve and edges more soft than before.

Hammering the end part for a straight surface to showing the slowly movement from curve to flat.

End stage, I'll start polish stage again lol, looking forward to it.

Is this even include in process journal? Hope not haha.
Again, I spent a lot of time to polish it with sand paper, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and end up with 1200, but I think I hammered it too much with small hammer, there are lots of spot on that I can't soft it out, but still looks cool though.

Sanding process

Final product lol

It is pretty hard for me to get this point, I mean I haven't took a lot of photos when I doing this, but I''ll keep doing it later. The course is funny, relaxing, I don;t really need to push myself out, or rush anything, it is all natural and smooth, even the hamming is tried though, but I got my muscle bump up lol.

It is not good when I first time polish and curved this bowl, I mean, there still  amount of things needs to improve, even I already polished it, I wanted to make a better one than this.

Polishing is nasty, not that good, because I didn't sanded enough.
When I finished first time, I was trying to make another one see if I can make it better than last one, but the problem is 1mm is too thin, it keeps crunch at the edge and I can't fix it, and every time when it bump up, it would split.

This is what I used for polishing, metal finish for first layer, silvo for reflection, and metal reflection for last layer.

I also tried this wax, it turns out same as what silvo did.

fiber for polishing.

Polish takes long time than I expected, first time I used 200 to 750 and finishing is bad, second time I start with 350, and then 600, 1000 and end with 1200, it feels nice, but still not reflecting as I thought.

Hammer, really tired for working on this.

failed second one and the female template.

split everywhere lol.
Template, I know I can't make a perfect circle, then I cut  a little bit to fit my bowl.

Final polishing in vacuum machine.

finished lol!
I sanded the bottom, is 100% flat!!!!

Like I said, is not 100% perfect arc, but I like it, put a lot effort into it, polished three times, two times modification, guess I'm not that bad for first time learning punch metals lol.
